The 21st Century classroom

When I think of the 21st century classroom I  feel that everything will be more technology based because of our world today.  In today's society, everyone has acess to cell phones, ipods, ipads, notebooks, or laptop computers that they carry around everywhere.  I have family members as young as 7 with cell phones that they use everyday. Our generation is moving from print books and magazines to electronically based books and magazines. Objects like Kindles are prime examples of how things are changing.
I also feel that the 21st century classroom will focus more on math and science concepts to keep up with other international countries because the United States has started to fall behind in educational achievements in these areas.  In other countries students learn their native language as well as another language and I feel that United States should do the same thing as well in the 21st century.  As a nation, we are falling behind and other countries are advancing so we should focus on more way to see what and how we can imporve our schools in the 21st century.
