I also feel that the 21st century classroom will focus more on math and science concepts to keep up with other international countries because the United States has started to fall behind in educational achievements in these areas. In other countries students learn their native language as well as another language and I feel that United States should do the same thing as well in the 21st century. As a nation, we are falling behind and other countries are advancing so we should focus on more way to see what and how we can imporve our schools in the 21st century.
Ms. Askew you made some great points. Our century is changing to the point that the younger children have to help the older generation with how some things need to be done, which is kind of backwards. The biggest point I feel you made in this entry is that United States is lowering their standards with education and that is why so many Americans are losing jobs and being replaced by foreigners who take their education more serious.
ReplyDeleteEven though technology is everywhere we go, i agree that the US is falling behind when it comes to the kind of technology other countries have. I also feel that the schools are reasons students decide not to attend, therefore other foreigners are more acceptable to get jobs because they have degrees. I feel like improving classrooms, to make a real 21st century will help keep kids attention and help them enjoy coming to school.
